Suggested daily feeding
Feed up to one pouch per day for an average size adult cat.
Fancy Feast Broths are intended for supplemental feeding only. This product may be fed daily along with a complete and balanced cat food diet.
A savory, silky broth with delicious real tuna and vegetables, crafted without by-products or fillers.
Our cat loved the fancy feast broth sample we received, it was very good quality, you could plainly see that there was real all natural ingredients in the food. We went to the pet store to buy more and saw the price! Yikes! By the time companies ship their products out here and priced for the shelves, the price is just way too high to be worth the tiny amount of food in the container.
My Penelope aka Lady Nells loves the broths especially the tuna and salmon flavors. She is extremely picky about her food and Fancy Feast products have always been a win. I find she enjoys the liquid of broth but the premium fish is left behind untouched. Lady Nells is 10 years old and her wet food are mainly pates. It would be lovely if Fancy Feast would make a purée version of these tasty broths so that Lady Nells and other cats her age could enjoy and savor all from the packet and not just the liquid.
The only people food my cats will eat is tuna. But, they LOVE all the Fancy Feast Broths. After they finish eating one of the broths, you can't even tell that their plate once had food on it. They lick it completely clean.
This is a great product, my cat absolutely loved it, but I just wish there was more in one pouch, the cost is a little high for the amount that you get in a pack, but I definitely will buy more in the future
My senior kitty is on a daily liquid medication, and Fancy Feast Broths are the only wet food she loves and will eat enough of to get her medication. I've tried all the other brands and types of wet food, but Fancy Feast Broths are the ones I buy knowing my cat will devour.
my cats think that they now need to have this a least once a day. not as a meal but as a snack or treat. They are big cats and so it is just a snack. They do enjoy it very much not a morsel is left in the bowl.
Nanook took to the food right away. He normally only likes seafood classic but he really loved the gravy and tuna. He finished the broth first and sometimes will leave some of the tuna once the broth is gone.
i really don't like anything. my name is hissy cat and I hiss at everything until I was given my purely fancy feast with tuna in broth! I loved it ! ate it right down! I don't know if it was my dinner or not, but suddenly I don't feel like hissing as much! (don't tell my mom!)
My cats love the broths, all of them!!! They also like the Elegant Medleys. The new Purely, they will not touch. They loved the old recipe. Also, they desperately miss their Souffles with Garden Greens. Those were their favorites. Please bring them back!!!! Three Hungry Kitties :(
Our cat inhaled this moments after it was set down in front of her, even though she had already eaten her dry food for the day. We're totally impressed with the quality and how much Daisy seemed to enjoy herself.
I received a sample of Purely Fancy Feast Tongol Tuna flavor. I set the dinner plate in front of each cat and both jumped up from a sleep to eat. Lately, I have had one cat that has become finicky, not tonite. Both cats cleaned their plates. This doesn't happen often. I will definately buy this again. Way to go Purina.
Our cats LOVE this food. We do too. However, note that these are NOT to be served exclusively without other food (package states "use to compliment other food only."). That said, these are awesome. We learned the hard way that most cats don't drink nearly enough water, which often leads to kidney disease later in life. We had two elderly cats with kidney disease and it was awful. We learned too late that it's best for the cats to have plenty of wet food, and to even add a little water to the wet foods to get them to consume more fluids. Our cats love these, and although the pouches can be a bit hard to easily get all the food out, we quickly learned to swish a teaspoon or two of water in the pouches to get any lingering food and just dump this right on top of the broth in the cat's bowl. Cats don't notice the difference and they get some extra water - vet approved! Don't know what we'd feed our cats if this product ever went away as our cats will pretty much only eat this now along with their dry food. They now turn their nose up at all other wet food (even the most expensive holistic ones!)
Quality and ingredients are of the highest standards, though the packaging,"pouch" has my B.C., alias, black cat most impatient due to the time taken by her pops to dig to the bottom for the solids. Being in marketing and tinkering in food galleys of the aerospace industry, has given me an eye for culinary aperatus improvement. Guys, there is no need for a redesign of the current pouch. Simply place an additional die cut pull tab,(as the existing one at the top) to the expandable base. Dah! This will allow your valued customers the option to open that delectable broth from the top or from the base for retrieval of solids, or opening both ends. No charge for my advise, though B.C would appreciate COUPONS .
My cat seems to be hungry all the time and his dry food is not filling him up. He has been stealing the dog's wet food. For this reason I looked for something small in portion that he might like and found the FF Classic Broths. Well he thinks he should have this treat every night which I cannot afford to do. He loves the broth but the long slivers of tuna are too hard for him to pick up from the dish and he merely licks all of the broth which causes the tuna to fall on to the floor. This is wasteful considering it is over $1 per package. Another issue I have is that when you tear open the top of the pouch the sauce comes squeezing out and your hands are now covered in smelly tuna sauce. The pouch is also not user friendly as you cannot dump out all of the meat by squeezing it as it sticks to the pouch. You must get out a spoon or knife and dig out all of the food. This is much too complicated for something that should be a fast serve item since it is in a pouch with a tear off top.
I got a sample in the mail just at a time that I was desperately looking for a food my cat who was dying of cancer would eat more than just a bite of. She ate almost all of it right off. Needless to say, I went to the store and bought multiple flavors. It was all she would eat for the last month of her life. Her daughter would sit and watch while she ate, then finish whatever Carmen didn't eat. Now that Carmen is gone, I still buy them for her daughter Casey who eats every bite. All of my cats eat fancy feast canned food twice a day, along with the broths as a treat.
When I first found broths I was so excited. My cats absolutely loved the Tuna broths. I tried to feed them the Salmon, and the Mackerel versions as well, but their absolute fav was the Tuna. I served it to them every day and was thrilled to have found something that was real and healthy looking and my cats totally enjoyed. I thought they would probably tire of eating the same thing every day. This was not the only thing they ate, they also have dry food. When the chicken broths came out, I was even more excited. I thought I could switch back and forth with the flavors so my cats wouldn't get bored.. BIG MISTAKE. They came to the bowl expecting their fav Tuna, and there was this ewwwwy something they didn't want at all.. :( I left it overnight only to find in the morning it hadn't even been licked. So I thought, ok, back to the Tuna then. OH NO, now they won't eat it either.. :( I put it out and they come and smell and walk away, SO, I'm back to trying to find something they like
The one treat my cat comes running for. Even before I open the package our youngest cats comes running just seeing the package in our hands. She will sit there very patiently while we get her bowl and open the package. She will then walk right beside us looking up at her bowl until we set it down. Her head never leaves the bowl until it is licked clean. Now whenever we walk near her treat she comes looking to see if we are getting her treat.
Minnie really loved it. Her brother tried to push her out of the dish.(Their favorite food is chicken.).They went around looking for more. As I have 4 cats I find it expensive to feed them. I used it as a treat meal.
Only 2 of my cats like these. One won't eat any soft BUT these! But I can't get my others to like them, maybe it's because I spoiled them on the appetizers! Ferals love them, gotta give the uneaten to someone. I just hope they don't get spoiled! The broths look and smell great as cat food and I just don't understand why they don't want them. Overall, they are just too expensive to "try". I wouldn't recommend (or only buy 1).
I have never seen my cat eat soft food the way he does when I give him the new Fancy Feast Tuna in Broth. I actually begs for it now and will not eat his had cat food. I have created a monster. Hoping I can fid some coupons as this food is expensive. .
My boys like the appetizers best, but had tried the broths. Not enough meat for the money. I accidently bought creamy broth instead of decadent silky , at new WALMART NEIGHBORHOOD MARKET. Had no idea it was different. Boys ate it all, but you have more broth than meat. You know we feline lovers will spend whatever it takes to make our best friends and family members happy and content. They also love the FANCY FEAST DRY , costly, but happy boys. MEOW! MEOW!
I only have one cat now but with all the cats I had, all of them loved Fancy Feast, especially Chicken & Liver Feast. They loved it and begged me for it. I received your Fancy Feast Ornament today and was so excited. Before Christmas, I had planned to email you about a new ornament. I was so happy to receive it today. I also received your Broths With Tuna & Vegetables in a decadent sauce. I put it in my cats bowl (her name is Sandy) and she devoured it.
Our cat slurps this down without stopping. A compliment to her meal. Her favorite is the tuna and shrimp with carrots. I think cats enjoy this broth that looks so good. I give it to her in the morning to give her that extra energy an older cat needs. Hopefully Chicken will be sold soon.
I've recently purchased your Broth products and can not believe how much my cats love it, to the point where they lick the bowls clean!!! They're not at all picky about what Broth variety I give them, they can't get enough!! Unfortunately with 3 cats it gets a bit pricey ( wish it were cheaper or I had coupons to buy more). My cats say thank you Purina!!!
You only get a few bits of meat and a small amount of broth in each package. One pouch is definitely not enough for a meal, at least in our house. I understand what FF is trying to do/market, but either bump up the portion size or lower the price - .75-.85 would be more appropriate in its current packaging.

My 22 year old cat Sylvia has become super finicky and will flick all her food out of the bowl to get the liquid which really isn't much. For the past 20 years this other brand is what she always ate with no issues. Now I was so delighted to find this product and see her enjoy it without problems. I do break up the meat that is in the broth for her but after that process she consumes the whole package! So VERY happy and this will be a part of her new food routine. Thank You, Angela
My cats absolutely love this . Unfortunately there is almost nothing in the packet and difficult to get out. There's only 1.4 oz and sell for over $1 vs 3 oz in the fancy feast cans at less than half the price. I am by no means cheap and feed my cats whatever they like including Starkest tuna and salmon in the pouch. But this is ridiculous and unfortunate because they all love it.

I have a 10 year old cat, Diesel, who won't eat any other food besides dry cat food. He won't even eat Tuna fish straight from the can! However, he LOVED the Tuna and Veggie silk broth. Ate it up in minutes! Our kitten, Jake, loved it as well. But, because my picky eater Diesel enjoyed it so much I will definitely be going to get more pouches of the broths so that the guys can have a treat a few times a week! Great to have found another way to pamper them!
I showed my cat the pouch and she immediately began rubbing against my leg. It took her dish and poured the contents into therein.I placed it on the floor. Within seconds it was all gone and she wanted. A very good product.
Our cats love the broths! It is like a treat to them, whenever they hear the container open they come running. IT is a great product because it contains liquid and nutrition cats need in their diet. They love it!
My cat, Maui, has always liked gravy but I haven't been able to find any in this small town. I even tried buying human gravy in the glass bottles, she didn't like that. I saw the new Broths and, for the first time, she ate ALL of it; the sauce and the little bit of meat. She lost a front tooth due to infection and it is hard for her to still chew hard food. She is happy when she eats the Broths and this makes me happy!

I just recently discovered the Fancy Feast Broths. I have several older cats who really only eat the liquid and these pouches are filled with plenty of that, thank goodness. They are a little pricey, so that's the only downfall that I can see, but my old guys need them. I really appreciate these FF broth pouches. It's been a game changer in whetting my old guys' appetites.
My little 6 month old tiger kitten LOVED the broths!!! So now, she only wants to eat the Broths and no other cat food! I find the pouches expensive for what little is in it, although she licks up every drop of broth in the packet and my puppy makes a beeline for the solid food on the plate.

my 13 year old himlayan just couldn't get enough of it and kept looking for more and we'd like more samples if it were possible to see how she would like those flavors too as she's losing teeth and can use soft food! am strapped for cash to buy things so maybe you can help us out?

My cat is so very picky, She rarely eats anything new and barely eats her regular food. Until now, since I tried the broths she cleans her plate and is finally putting on a little weight. Before the Broths she was way to skinny and now she is healthy and happy and comes running a dinner time . I received a free sample and thought why not give it a try. She ate the entire thing!! We now only buy Broths!!!

I received a free packet of Broths from Purina through a "freebie" site. The cats liked the taste; it looked and smelled fine. But I would never buy or use this regularly for the simple fact that getting the food out of the packet is terribly inconvenient! A lot of it slides out, especially the "broth", but a lot remainds in the bottom of the packet and is very difficult and annoing to try to scrape out as the packet is flexible and inhibits my digging the rest out.Sorry, not a fan.

Reily was on the street and very very young. We brought him in and found he tested positive for FIV. He was a very fussy eater and needed to gain weight. The only cat food he would eat was Fancy Feast, but stil not a lot. When the broths came out, we crossed our fingers and tried them. He loved them. Eats them everyday, it's his bedtime snack. Reily is healthy and happy. Thanks to Fancy Feast.
When my Mommy gives me new food, I always check it out. Sometimes I eat it, sometimes I turn my nose up at it and walk away. When Mommy put this in my dish, I started eating it. I planned to walk away. I did for a little, but then I just couldn't help myself. I went back and licked the plate clean! I wanted to make sure my brother didn't get any! Or that stray cat who thinks she is going to stay. But I hear Mommy asking everyone if they know anyone who can take her in. I hope she leaves soon or I will get to liking her and then I will miss her. I cannot let that happen.
My cat absolutely loves your Broths. He will start telling me when I walk to cabinet to get it out how much he likes it. He is a older cat, 18 actually and food is hard for him to digest so he likes the more liquid type of nourishment and he loves it. Thanks for a quality product.

The broth sample I received was not enough for more than 1 cat. If you have 3 or more, there's going to be a fight, or at least growled warnings from the eating cat. I don't know about the cost of Fancy Feast as opposed to any other cat food, but judging from the sample, it would be enough to use as a training treat or overall treat. Not enough for a meal, at least not for multiple cats.I gave the product 5 stars because it isn't often that my cat(s) will willingly eat something that is different than anything they have ever eaten. I may try the full bags since I have a coupon, but again, I can't see it being better financially than what I currently feed my cats.

All the cats love these, but I truly credit these broths for keeping my youngest alive through a severe illness...it was the only thing she would eat, and the hydration kept her going. Excellent product, I hope it is never discontinued. I only wish it were easier to get all the meat out of the packet, as I usually end up wasting part of what is already a fairly small amount in the packet.
My 13 yr old cat recently had surgery and due to having to be confined has not been eating and has lost weight. I tried him on the broth because had a coupon and he immediately devoured it. This is the only thing he now really eats which is amazing, except being retired this is extremely costly and a pouch is not a full meal..I want to continue giving him this. Are there ever any coupons available or a recommended outlet where they are less costly.Thank you for your assistance.
My cat lost her appetite after starting medications for her thyroid and high blood pressure. We used a prescription appetite stimulant, but it gave her undesirable side-effects. The broth really helps get her interested in food again. I pour it into a container, add a can of Fancy Feast classic, mix it up, and serve it to her like that. She eats with a lot less encouragement than without the broth, and finishes more food at a time. The bad part for us is that the broth is not very caloric, but every bit helps. I also really dislike the packaging of the broth. It's very difficult to handle the bag without getting broth all over my hands and counters.
One of my cat's is very picky, but she quickly ate the new Broth food that I poured over her dry food. I like to ensure that my cat has enough liquid in her diet. I subscribe to Cat Fancy and the articles are reinforcing the need for hydration to promote long term kidney health. Thank you for a new product that promotes my cats' health that they really enjoy and want to eat!
My cat, Cricket, mainly eats crunchy cat foods but occasionally I will give her canned. She will eat all the liquid out of the canned food and oftentimes leave the solids. When I saw this sample, I decided it would be perfect for Cricket. She eagerly lapped up the broth - but left the little shrimps! Those shrimps got hard so I had to toss them but she sure loved the broth. I would recommend making just a broth with nothing else added for cats like mine. Still, it was mostly broth so it wasn't too wasteful.
I have a very picky eater and he loves when I open a packet of broth. He's a lazy eater though. Would love to see the broth only packaged to put over less expensive fancy feast brands to entice him to eat.
