Suggested daily feeding
Feed up to one pouch per day for an average size adult cat.
Fancy Feast Broths are intended for supplemental feeding only. This product may be fed daily along with a complete and balanced cat food diet.
A savory, delicate broth with tender morsels of real tuna, anchovies and whitefish, crafted without by-products or fillers.
Two of my three cats had been enjoying eating the Fancy Feast Broths. One cat would lick all the broth out and leave the meat and vegetables. The other cat ate everything. One cat would come running through the house if she heard me getting her food ready. If she saw me with the pouch, she'd stand at my feet and cry. I loved giving them the broths because their reaction to getting it was priceless. However, one day I was reading over the ingredients and noticed there was carageenan in all the broths. Carageenan can cause gastrointestinal problems at the least and cancer as the worst case scenario. I've been having my cat finish it up, but I won't be buying it for her again unless the carageenan is removed from the ingredients.
The elderly feline brothers who live with me spurn anything other than the Broths line now. I'm happy to accommodate their preference, but the pleated pouch packaging is not making ME happy. Couldn't something a little easier to empty be devised?
I started purchasing the broths for a cat with kidney failure who needed lots of extra fluids. She was a big fan of them - she would eat them in a couple of minutes and liked all of the flavors. I have a new cat now who is also a big fan - she likes all of the flavors and eats it within minutes. I highly recommend the broths for cats that need extra fluids.
My blue-point Siamese, Nefri, was not eating due to an intestinal blockage/build-up, and the stress of going to vet many times in diagnostic attempts. The only thing that tempted her (and we tried MANY foods) was the tuna and anchovies broth. We think it saved her life. She has done well, as we gradually re-introduced her to her usual foods. We are continuing to offer her the broth as a supplement. Her brother, Mr. Sasha, a seal, has been enjoying any pieces Nefri left over.
Wow! My cat Freckles really enjoyed trying the Purine Broths with Tuna, Anchovies, and Whitefish! Usually I feed my cat only dry cat food, so this was a real big treat for Freckles! I know she loved it because when she finished her food, she came over and sat near me on the couch, rubbing her head on my while purring! In that moment, I really felt the love! Thanks Purina for making that special moment possible!
My Three cats are nuts about Broths! They are sitting in the kitchen every night at 6pm waiting for their treats. I split a package between them every night. I spread out about four packets on the floor and let them pick which one they want. I know "crazy cat lady, right!" But they always pick the pink and purple ones. But, they really love the anchovies (I haven't had the heart to tell them they don't come from either of those packages). I pick the little fish out and they dance around the kitchen until I give it to them, except for Madam Cleo, who just looks at me like she's saying, "no way, just feed me already". We have way too much fun at dinner time. Thanks so much for providing such a healthy treat for my kitties. They are so picky about food, it thrills me that they enjoy Broths so much.
My cat Monkey as well as my other kitty Mimi loooove the broths especially the creamy version. I upgraded to these broths as soon as they came out as a compliment to there dryer pate version. ( I pour the broths over the pate) However I notice both cats drinking more water and every time after they eat the broths. Is there a high amount of salt in these? why would they go straight to the water after eating. Has anyone seen this in their cat? THANKS
Our cat is allergic to chicken, so the fish packets w/o by-products is perfect and she gives it two paws up. However, the packet itself has to be cut open in order to retrieve all the contents which creates a lingering fishy smell on hands, scissors and (since it cannot be soaked after using) the trash. I preferred the plastic container with the cardboard cover that could be saved in the fridge and afterwards soaked to remove the odor, which permeates everything. The kitty may love that smell, but her humans definitely do not. Five stars for content, zero for packaging.

I have two cats, Niddle, and Samaya, my daughter went into the Navy so I ended up with two sweet kitties. I have two dogs. My son graduated high school and left the state to go work and I ended up with a puppy named Nelly. I also have a dog named Sheba, she belonged to my brother in law that passed away. All of these pets love the products. At meal time they don't waste a bite. They are all healthy and their coats are beautiful.
Your broths have absolutely been the answer to my fussy cat problems! They love gravy but hate the morsels, shreds, etc. Only like pate's and there are no pate's with gravy. I've had years of trying and testing cat foods and even making homemade gravies - no luck. FINALLY! They LOVE your broth mixed with the pate's. I am so pleased! However, the envelopes are small, expensive and the food gets stuck in the crease at the bottom, so I have to cut them open to scrape everything out. I would love to see small plastic tubs of the stuff! With maybe 3 times what's in the envelopes. Again, I'm not complaining - this stuff is wonderful. I'm just an idealist :) Thank you!!!
there pet food is made with real quality items you can see and it looks and smells like some thing I would possibly eat myself so I trust giving it to my cat. Also she Loves it and come 5pm each day she is waiting for her good stuff and lord help you if she doesn't get it she will throw a temper tantrum like a 2yr old child. She likes the one with anchovies the best but will happily eat all of the flavors though I don't buy the Silk flavors for her because she has a intolerance for dairy products. She loves to drink Milk and eat any dairy product but it doesn't love her the next day she has a lot of litter pan related issues to be polite. All in All its a good value though I do think the package the Broth's come in are small for the price.
My cats love the the broths products, and I like the idea, but I HATE the packaging. Half the product remains in the package and it is difficult and time consuming to remove, which to me, makes the product a bad value

My two cats ages 9 and 14 are very picky eaters. One likes one brand of wet food and the other one prefers another. However they both absolutely love the FF Broths line. It is their favorite.
My cat Meatloaf is a dry food only cat. She will sometimes nibble a little of her brother's wet food, but her clear preference is dry food. One day I tried her out on the broth packets and they were an instant hit. It is now our daily ritual for Meatloaf to slurp down her broth packet while I eat my breakfast. Meatloaf would give the broth packets 2 thumbs up, if she actually had any thumbs. :-)
My cat has a very sensitive stomach and most of her faves cause her to vomit no long after consuming that includes dry foods as well however when she ate this food she devoured so fast I just knew I would be cleaning cat vomit soon but she never did. I soooo excited that I am going to switch her dry to fancy feast to see how it works out she is super picky about what she eats I was more than delighted to see her love it so much. Thanks fancy feast for the sample you have a new customer!!!
My cat loves the broth, but now Purina has added a lot of cheaper solid pieces that my cat won't eat. When I first started buying this product, there were fewer solid pieces but my cat ate them. Now he won't touch them as he eats around them to get the broth. This is only meant to be a supplement anyway, so I'd prefer the original formula with fewer solid pieces and more broth.
Our cats LOVE this food. We do too. However, note that these are NOT to be served exclusively without other food (package states "use to compliment other food only."). That said, these are awesome. We learned the hard way that most cats don't drink nearly enough water, which often leads to kidney disease later in life. We had two elderly cats with kidney disease and it was awful. We learned too late that it's best for the cats to have plenty of wet food, and to even add a little water to the wet foods to get them to consume more fluids. Our cats love these, and although the pouches can be a bit hard to easily get all the food out, we quickly learned to swish a teaspoon or two of water in the pouches to get any lingering food and just dump this right on top of the broth in the cat's bowl. Cats don't notice the difference and they get some extra water - vet approved! Don't know what we'd feed our cats if this product ever went away as our cats will pretty much only eat this now along with their dry food. They now turn their nose up at all other wet food (even the most expensive holistic ones!)
My ragdoll loves this food, especially the broth. I do have to mince the large pieces up for her since she only has her incisor teeth. She loved the trayed tuna Appetizers until you changed the formula. Please do not change the formula for this food too.
Because none of my 15 cats will eat the meat or vegetables, only the broth, due to the high cost of the broths, I do not feed it to my cats unless one is sick and won't eat the regular food. I only purchase broths if I have a coupon making it cost effective.
Both my cats turn up their noses at these new broth. They weren't even interested in the brother and then I tried to mash the fish and veggies to disguise them but still No Go! They both love the Fancy Feast Appetizer trays but the broths I can't recommend at this time. I'll see if they prefer the free sample of chicken I'm getting.
Only 2 of my cats like these. One won't eat any soft BUT these! But I can't get my others to like them, maybe it's because I spoiled them on the appetizers! Ferals love them, gotta give the uneaten to someone. I just hope they don't get spoiled! The broths look and smell great as cat food and I just don't understand why they don't want them. Overall, they are just too expensive to "try". I wouldn't recommend (or only buy 1).
Our fur baby Belle A. Trix is on a diet of dry food and half a can of Fancy Feast for her evening meal. We like to treat her once a week with something special, and these broths are the perfect thing since she LOVES foods in gravy. She devours them like mad. The only problem her humans have is the cost. They are pretty expensive for the small amount you get. This isn't stopping us from buying them, Trix is a pretty spoiled fur baby, but we really wish they were cheaper. Nevertheless, we would highly recommend.
My kitty loves these and many other fancy feast foods ... Wet. She begs for them. And I feel good that what she is eating is good for her, all of her. She feels good and it shows. Pouches are OK but agree with other reviewer, need a spoon to get all of the food out.
My cats loved the broth and loved the fish. But the package leave a lot to be desired. The broth splashes out when you open it from the tabs and you can't get all the meat out without using a spoon to dig into the packet. This would do much better in a can container or the one the appetizers are in.
I have four rescues indoors and care for a feral colony of about 15-30 cats outside. During our recent horrific winter weather one of my ferals developed a severe ear infection which required a trip to the vet and a somewhat major intervention. I set up a "hospital" kennel indoors to bring her in for recovery. For almost 48 hours I tried to get food and water down her to no avail. I finally remembered a free sample I had of the Fancy Feast broth. I have so many mouths to feed that I had not been able to purchase this product but held on to the free sample. I was frantic trying to figure out what I could do to get her to take some kind of nutrition, then I saw the broth packet on the shelf. I warmed it slightly and took it in to her. She was immediately interested and began drinking it right away! After about 30 minutes she had perked up and was interested in eating some canned food. I believe that with the help of this broth she will recover nicely...I'm sure I would have lost her without it! Even if you can't afford it as a regular treat it would be a good idea to have some on hand for just such emergencies!
My cat goes crazy for the broths. Every day about 2 o'clock she starts making a fuss until I give her one. Biggest problem is the price. $1 to $1.25 for 1.4 ounces. Terrible. This is not a fair bargain at this price. I'm retired on a fixed income and I can't justify adding $40 to my cat food bill each month. I may have to wean her off the broths. Sorry.
I saw this stuff online while sitting in my owner's lap. She was thinking about buying it and so was reading the reviews. Notably lacking was any review from my species. Look, I like food especially the smelly canned stuff. Who doesn't? The best part of smelly canned stuff is watching my various care (aka cat) givers make funny faces when putting it into my dish. Now this broth stuff looks good. Maybe too good. Maybe my caregivers will decide they like it and suddenly I'm cat out of luck. Besides I really like tuna water. I looove it! And with tuna water, there's no chance of my caregivers poaching it. I get the water; they get the tuna. Everyone leaves happy. Stop messing around with new and better. Just give me a scratching post in the sun, some catnip in the garden, and the occasional bowl of tuna water, and I'm a happy cat. I may not get a lot of hits on Youtube like my cuz Grumpy Cat, but who needs all that paparazzi attention? As for recommending this to a friend - I'm a cat. My friends are mostly dogs and pet rats. They don't like cat food. That's why they are my friends - they don't eat my food.
Our cat slurps this down without stopping. A compliment to her meal. Her favorite is the tuna and shrimp with carrots. I think cats enjoy this broth that looks so good. I give it to her in the morning to give her that extra energy an older cat needs. Hopefully Chicken will be sold soon.
I was sooo happy to see you were offering broth. My cat Whiskers has a problem with constipation from not drinking enough water. He loves most of them! I however do not think you are giving enough (and it does not look a thing like the commercials or pictures) in the package (a small palm full) especially considering it costs at least $1.00 per package! How can you charge $.59 for a can of food(Fancy Feast cans) with at least twice as much in it, and charge $1.00 or more for so little? You need to either increase the amount given or lower your profit margins. What you are giving is not fair for the price we have to pay for it!
Thank you very much for your feedback about our Broths. Please give us a call at 800-877-7551 and reference case number 19317408 so we can help you out.
I have a four year old Orange calico!!.... My cat LOOOOOOOOVES ALL the varieties....... he has found a way to"ask" for them every afternoon when I get home from work!!.... My favorites also because they look very fresh and appetizing !!....
My cat was diagnosed with failing kidneys, he is almost 13. He had stopped eating and I had tried everything but made the mistake of putting meds in his food as vet prescribed. It took a while to regain his trust and then this free sample came in the mail. I tried it and he loved it. Now in order to get him to eat I mis it with some of his other food. He is now eating and regaining his weight. Wish you made cans of broth or gravy that I could add to his food. He seems to prfer that. Thanks.

Jayda was loving this from the first scent when I opened the pouch to her last lick out of the bowl. She will eat tuna juice from the can-but will not eat pork or beef or chicken from the table. She loves Fancy Feast Broth Tuna flavor, my only difficulty is my budget so she only gets to enjoy only every other week. Payday luxury.

My cats love the new Broths. They eat the entire serving, unlike other cat foods where they lick only the liquid and leave the solids behind. The Broths quality is great, but the quanity is not enought to justify the high cost.
We appreciate your feedback regarding our products. Should you have additional concerns, give our team a call at 800-877-7551 and provide reference number 19237627. Thanks again.

As soon as the envelope is opened, the 3 cats come running! The smell alone gets them excited! Their favorite is the broth with the anchovies~you snooze, you loose~Rosey is the first to the bowl, beating her brothers. Each cat has a favorite part of the "appetizer",Rosey the anchovies,Pepper the broth and Gabby the fish. I give them this as a treat and it is greatly appreciated!

I received this as a sample for my cats. Tried it out on my younger cat who we found as a stray in the neighborhood. She really loved it. She ate it eagerly to the last drop. There seemed to be more broth than fish in it though. do not know if it was less meat for the sample offer or not. Came with a coupon so I will get more to try in other flavors. Convenient open up pouch and nice looking food inside.

Wow, i haven't seen Smudge eat like that since i got him!!!! he devoured it like he's never had a meal before!!!! It was even enough to keep him settled for a while, incredible job fancy feast...... BRAVO......
Received a coupon so tried the broths. My 4 cats love the silky broth not the creamy style. Since not much fish or veg in the envelope I need to mix with dry food. Unfortunately too expensive. 4 for $5.00 is the best buy I could find. I purchase approximately 30 cans of Fancy Feast each week. So my "kids" really enjoy your products. Thank you for bringing something new to our shelves.
My cats love the Fancy Feast broths! The chunks of meat in the tasty broth really appeals to them. They clean up every drop. I gave it a 4 star rating because it is difficult to get all of the food out of the foil pouch, so serving is not a piece of cake. Overall, for the price, I find this to be a less than average value. The pouches seem to have less product than the Fancy Feast appetizers did and since it is not as easy to remove so that you can get all the product out - I have to say it is a poor value.
I received this product to try in the mail. I put down the bowls with this in it. It was gone before I even walked away. Taffy usually eats a few bites and then walks away, then Henry eats the rest of his. There was none left in Taffy's bowl for Henry.
I never thought I would find anything besides the canned food by Fancy Feast that my 2 furbabies would enjoy. So when I received an email to try for free the Broths I just did it because it was free. SO when I received the free one I went to the store and purchased another so they could have their own packet. Well I'm glad I did purchase another because when they finished those tongues were talking all I heard was lick, lick lick lick.....ummm yeow...yeow!!!
I have three cats and they love the broth with tuna, anchovies and whitefish. I've never seen them so excited about their food before. Great product. I buy cases of the broth. They love the taste and I love the price. Great value for the money. I've been recommending it to everyone.
I am sorry, but my cat does not like Broths. I even bought a box of each flavor thinking that he would really really go for it because he likes gravy. He walked up to his dish sniffed it and then walked away. I am sure this a good product, but not for my Pumpkin. He really likes Morning, but this is getting harder to find.
My Princess has a sensitive stomach...and is inclined to throwing up food and treats that don't sit well with her stomach (we're talking even specialty food the vet has suggested). The Classic (with the tuna, shrimp and whitefish in broth) was great for her. Her face DOVE into her little bowl and although she didn't eat all the pieces she had every last drop of the broth and it didn't upset her tummy at all. I would suggest this for your kitty! It is NOT a meal...just a compliment to a meal. I give it to her as a treat. I got her a special bowl for it so when she sees me grab the bowl she comes RUNNING.
She loves the sauce!!! She can't get enough of the sauce. The bowl is licked dried every time. Her favorite is the salmon but she would love it if there is a crab variety. All the ingredients are great , non-processed and seems flavorful. Also the sauce is not watery. This line of product is definitely one of her favorites.
