    Simply the Best

It is remarkable hard for me to pick a single line of "Fancy Feast" products to review. To say that my "babies" love Fancy Feast is an understatement. They could be your poster children (or if you ever consider starting a tasting study, your number one critiques). I do cat welfare rescue, specifically working with unadoptable cats who were considered feral, suffered either medical or emotional problems or just too old for most to consider a viable pet. My rescues are a good representative in age having ranged from 2 week old bottle fed to over 25 years old. With almost fifty permanent residents currently who are feed a diet of Fancy Feast wet, dry, appetizers and broths, I have a good idea of what cats like and what they don't. Yes, because despite how others might have seen these little ones, they are very much my children and no food is too good for them. I have tried them on more expensive food and/or specialty foods (in part due to some of their medical conditions), yet it is Fancy Feast they always come back to. There is something for everyone. The stable, of course, is the regular 3 ounce cans of Fancy Feast. There are some favorites... Fancy Feast Flaked Fish (wet) and solid pate style cans. For the elder statesmen, the new broths offer food that is easily consumable while being pleasing palpable. (Although I have never tasted them, they do smell remarkable fresh and edible). The Feast Feast Appetizers with the real pieces of chicken and fist were welcomed by the most picky of eaters. Even Amicia who eats nothing except human prepared chicken has taken a liking to the Tilapia. For those cats who like vegetables , the Elegant Medley with greens fits the meal. Of course, there is one food choice that stands above all others. It is the one food they would never give up - Fancy Feast Gourmet Savory Chicken Dry food. They enjoy it so much they have know where I store it and have been known to open it easily on their own. My only disappointment has been that it is often out of stock, both through Amazon and Wal-mart (the only stores I can find larger bags of this food). If I had to recommend something to add to your Fancy Feast food line it would be "pet treats". My little ones do eat Purina "Party Mix", but an upscale Fancy Feast product would be welcomed to compete with the other major pet treat competitor that seems to have a substantially larger market share (and unfortunately has won my kitties hearts).

    A Great Alternative!

My cat is very picky, as are almost all cats. But, she loves Tilapia! I have been known to pull a piece of tilapia out of the freezer to cook it for her when she snubs her food;. These appetizers are fantastic. She eats the tilapia in one sitting and wants more!

    Finally found something he likes

Searched far and wide and finally found something that my cat, Pierrefefe would eat. I wasted so much money trying so many different dishes. He even turned his nose up at canned tuna. I decided maybe I didn't need to eat that well known brand either. His favoirte has been tilapia.

My cats prefer the appetizers to all other food.

My three "little" ones don't leave a morsel on their plates. They love all the varieties of appetizers. I do provide Fancy Feast dry cat food for them throughout the day also but they love the appetizers best.
