I received a free sample of Fancy Feast by mail. Not having tried the brand before, I gave it a shot. WOW! My kitties loved it. I have since purchased Fancy Feast and what a difference in my kitties. They seem to enjoy it very much and show me their appreciation in every way. Thanks Fancy Feast :o)
My two cats (8 yrs and 10 yrs) love the Fancy Feast pate. I just wish there were some with egg or cheese or gravy in them. There are only 3 or 4 flavors they like right now and I am afraid they'll get bored. They don't care for the chunks, slices, or flaked...will only eat the pate. Please think about adding more varieties to the line.
My cats love this classic flavor, right behind the Classic Chopped Grill. They love the flavor combination, and they want this flavor as often as possible along with the Grill. Four paws up from my herd!
This flavor Classic Tender Beef & Chicken is literally the only flavor my cat will eat :) The past almost 6 months I've gone through every flavor of Friskies along with many other brands. My cat has nothing medically wrong with her she just is extremely picky and very sensitive to textures. Finally I gave her this flavor and she's eaten it twice a day everyday for the past 5 months (supplemented with dry food). Please don't ever do away with this flavor as my cat will not eat anything else.
My tuxedo, Mr. Sluggo is very picky where canned food is concerned. For years I've had him on blue wilderness chicken (canned) because it's the only canned food I've found he'll eat. Sluggo has feline diabetes (in remission for 2 years, but recently back out due to abscessed teeth) and was diagnosed a year and a half ago with small cell lymphoma of the bowel, though the diagnosis is questionable since all clonality tests were negative --- could be inflammatory bowel disease. I recently noted his blue wilderness he loves has carrageenan in it and while not bad (7% dry matter carbs) is suboptimal for a feline diabetic. Additionally carrageenan has been implicated in both inflammatory bowel disease and cancer. Putting 2+2 together, I looked for another canned food & decided to try this one (4% dry matter carbs on the scheyder calc and NO CARRAGEENAN). He loves it & is eating it like no tomorrow. His blood sugars are better and he's requiring even less insulin. Will see if his ibd/lymphoma improves also. That's a particularly bad combination with diabetes. Steroids very problematic.
When my mom got our first cat she got several different kinds of food for her to try and she chose Fancy Feast this was before they made the dry food. All these years later and that is still all my spoiled babies eat.
