I have never owned a cat before, and I inherited him (Sylvester) from my Grandmother who recently passed away. I am used to having schnauzers, and know their finicky eating habits and traits. I bought some other food for him and he flat out flipped his nose up at it and walked off, and wouldn't even eat it. However, when I saw the commercial for the Broths, I decided to give it a shot, and purchased the Broth with Wild Salmon, and some canned Purina cat food as well. I gave him the Broth for lunch and I have NEVER seen him eat with such enthusiasm . He was enthralled with it! The cat food went over just as famously, and I'm a buyer for life!
Rajah hadn't been feeling well for a few days and what she was eating kept coming right back up. We received a sample in the mail and I decided to have her try it. She absolutely loved it and it stayed down! We have been buying it ever since!
My cats are wild for salmon in all sorts of forms (kibble, treats, canned); my husband says this is natural because the salmon cat foods cost more than every other flavor. I bought a couple of pouches of the salmon broth for my elderly (age 17) cat, and she lapped up every drop, then ate the solids. Now she keeps looking for more; I'm trying to limit her to once a week. My other cat keeps testing a few drops of the broth; I'm going to try him on another flavor. A friend's cat has mouth and throat lesions, and my friend was ecstatic to get the broths, which he has no trouble eating while he gets well. I've also recommended the broths to other people, and all of them say their cats are wild about them. The only problem is that some of the cats lick up the broth so enthusiastically that they splatter it around their bowls!
This is the only wet cat food my Longhorn will eat. She is a vey finicky eater. I have tried other wet food & she turns her nose up at them. The only problem I have is the stores around here are not selling them anymore. I will still keep feeding her them even if I order online.
We have two rescues and over the past three years we have spent a fortune trying to find a healthy food they "girls" would eat. That being said if we spent $1.59 for some and they would leave more than half the can uneaten...didn't we spend more? Yes, so now we split a pouch in the morning and evening. After all we leave not one but two kinds of dry food for them daily. Remember to shake the pouch before feeding. We also dice up the pieces of food and split the best we can the broth. They love this food and we don't have to spend more money trying to find a different food. Best of all no left over uneaten.
Whosiwhatsit absolutely LOVED this sample! I've never seen her eat with such enthusiasm! I see many purchases in our future! :) Thank you!
